Can you eat the wax comb?
Yes. The wax comb is completely edible. Chew it to release the honey and enjoy the mild, waxy texture, or spread it on warm bread and a cheese board. Many people swallow the wax, others chew and discard it, both are fine.
How is honeycomb different from jarred honey?
Honeycomb is honey in its most natural, untouched form, still sealed in the beeswax cells the bees built. Nothing is extracted, filtered or processed, so you get the honey exactly as it was in the hive.
How do I store honeycomb?
Keep it sealed at room temperature, away from heat and sunlight. No refrigeration needed. Like all raw honey, it keeps for a very long time.
How do I get it?
Buy online or by phone, we confirm a pickup time, then you collect your order by appointment at our Laval, QC shop. We don't ship.
